A 56-year-old man was seriously injured this morning around 11.30 in Seregno, in the province of Monza, where a commando chased his car for at least 500 meters shooting wildly and wounding him with no less than two shots. The commando then moved away while dozens of shell casings remained on the ground. The carabinieri of the Seregno company have arrived on the spot. The man, of Calabrian origins, was transported to the Desio hospital.
He was in the car when he was hit by two shots fired by unknown persons in another car. The 56-year-old was injured in the lower back and then transported in code red to the hospital in Desio to be operated on. He is not in danger of life. The ambush took place
in Seregno at 11.15 in via Wagner. The carabinieri of the Seregno company and the investigative unit of the provincial command of Monza intervened on the spot and, coordinated by the prosecutor’s office, are conducting the investigations. There were two other people in the car with the victim.
