Those arrested will appear within 48 hours before the General Prosecutor of the Court of Appeal of Paris, before a judge determines the precautionary measures (confirmation of arrest or conditional release) that will remain in force until the completion of the examination of the extradition request by Italy.

According to what Ansa learns from French investigative sources, they are Enzo Calvitti, Giovanni Alimonti, Roberta Cappelli, Marina Petrella and Sergio Tornaghi, former members of the Red Brigades; and then by Giorgio Pietrostefani of Lotta Continua and Narciso Manenti of the Nuclei Armati against territorial power.

The operation had been prepared for several days and was carried out in cooperation by the liaison officers of the Italian police in Paris, who worked in close contact with the French anti-terrorism directorate.
