South Africa, judges stop Shell’s explorations in the natural paradise of the Wild Coast. Environmentalists celebrate

PRETORIA – The High Court of Heads, in South Africa, banned the Anglo-Dutch company Royal Dutch Shell to conduct oil exploration using seismic waves off the stretch of coast known as Wild Coast, the Wild Coast, in the Eastern Cape province.

The court ruled that Shell was “banned from undertaking seismic surveying operations” in the area, one of the most popular with tourists.
