South Sudan, three priests and several lay people in prominent positions in the diocese arrested for the bishop’s gambling

Twelve people were arrested in Rumbek, South Sudan, accused of being involved in the ambush of Bishop Christian Carlassare. The news agency reported ACI Africa. Three of them, among which the name of the diocesan coordinator John Mathiang stands out, are priests of the diocese of Rumbek while the others are lay people with different responsibilities at the local Church level.
