TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Atletico Madrid managed to do it comeback and won 3-1 when they hosted Girona in matchday 31 Spanish League 2023/24 season at the Civitas Metropolitano Stadium on Saturday evening WIB.

The visitors took the lead through Artem Dovbyk’s goal. Atletico then turned around to win after Antoine Griezmann scored two goals (brace). Angel Correa’s goal then ensured the final score was 3-1.

Atletico were able to equalize in the 34th minute through Griezmann’s penalty kick. The referee awarded a penalty after Miguel Gutierrez committed handball.

Antoine Griezmann, who stepped up as executor, successfully carried out his duties to change the score to 1-1.

Atletico successfully reversed the lead towards the end of the first half or the 45+6 minute. Angel Correa broke through Girona’s goal with a header after using Alvaro Morata’s pass.
