Sudan, agreement to bring Prime Minister Hamdock ousted by General al-Burhane back to the government

KHARTOUM – The Sudanese armed forces have reached an agreement for the return to the head of the government of Abdallah Hamdok, whose civil executive had been overthrown by the general Abdel Fattah al-Burhane last October 25th. This was reported to the France Presse Agency by one of the Sudanese mediators, Fadlallah Burma, leader of the Oumma opposition party. “A political agreement has been reached between General Burhane, Abdallah Hamdok, political forces and civil society organizations for a return of Hamdok to his place and the release of political detainees,” Burma said.
