Suez: last ship in queue passed, traffic jam ended

The last of the ships still in queue for the closure of the Suez Canal, which ended last Monday, traveled the waterway. This was revealed by the Suez Canal Authority, which then officially declared the traffic jam ended.

Today, April 3, the last 61 ships of the 422 that had remained in the queue due to the obstruction, which lasted a week, for the silting up of the Ever Given container ship passed.

It was not a smooth path, even in the last moments: during the day of Monday 29 March, Ever Given had returned to block the Suez canal. The container ship, after an attempt to unblock it, was in fact set diagonally again, as reported by the sites that monitor maritime traffic.
