Taiwan adds 42,204 new confirmed cases of new crown, 85 new deaths
Xinhua News Agency, Taipei, June 29. The Taiwan Epidemic Command Center announced on the 29th that there were 42,204 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia, including 42,112 local cases and 92 imported cases. Among the confirmed cases, 85 new deaths were reported.
The command center stated that the new local cases were 19,909 males, 22,183 females, and 20 under investigation, ranging in age from under 5 years old to over 90 years old.
The command center said that the new deaths that day were 46 males and 39 females, aged between their 30s and 90s, and 53 of them had not received 3 doses of the new crown vaccine. There were 227 new cases of moderate and severe cases on the same day.
The command center announced that the current epidemic prevention measures will be maintained in July, including wearing masks throughout the trip.
Statistics show that as of now, there have been 3,728,363 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Taiwan, including 3,713,788 local cases.
