The spokesperson of the Epidemic Management Center said after the meeting that from October 1st, the quarantine period for inbound passengers who received two doses of the new crown vaccine will be shortened from the original 14 days to 7 days; passengers who have not been vaccinated will enter the country by air or sea. The quarantine period has been shortened to 10 days, and the quarantine period for entry by land is still 14 days.

At the same time, starting from October 1st, more tourism demonstration areas will be opened on the basis of the “Phuket Sandbox Plan”, including Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Koh Tao in Surat Thani Province, and Khao Lak and Phang Nga in Phang Nga Province. Long Island, Phi Phi Island in Krabi Province, etc.

From November 1st, 10 more provinces will be opened, namely Bangkok, Krabi, Phang Nga, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Phetchaburi, Chonburi, Ranong, Chiang Mai, Loei and Buriram.
