The latest news, according to the official determination of China Earthquake Networks, at 9:47, September 8, Beijing time (19:47, September 7, local time)A magnitude 7.1 earthquake occurred in Mexico with a focal depth of 30 kilometers and its epicenter at 17.12 degrees north latitude and 99.60 degrees west longitude.

The average elevation within 5 kilometers of the epicenter is about 455 meters.

It is reported that the city 17 kilometers near the epicenter is Acapulco in Guerrero State (ACAPULCO), which is located in the southwest, and the capital Mexico City (370 kilometers from Acapulco) also felt the earthquake.
