The battle of the steel mill: Mariupol last embankment before the offensive in the East

AVDIIVKA – Ukraine’s best kept secret is the existence of contacts between the besieged who still resist against the Russians and against all odds within the city of Mariupol – but their resistance is running out – and the rest of the country. The Russians suspect these contacts are there and are nervous. On the night of Friday 8 April, some ships of the Russian navy and the coast guard opened fire on the merchant vessel flying the Maltese flag Apache, which departed fully loaded from Rostov-on-Don and headed for Bari, because it attempted to approach the besieged port.
