China-Europe Railway Express (Changsha) opens Mongolian route for the first time

Mongolia is the second largest landlocked country in the world and an important node country in the “Belt and Road” initiative. Data show that from January to May this year, the China Railway Express (Changsha) departed for Mara in Poland, Minsk in Belarus, Rezekne in Latvia, Moscow in Russia and other routes on the outbound route, and went to Russia and other routes on the return journey. Among them, there are 142 star trains on the Russian line, with more than 7 trains per week. The main exporter of goods is Russia, accounting for nearly 40% of the export value, an increase of 40.31% compared with the same period last year. From the point of view of goods, exports are mainly electronic products and daily necessities, and imports are mainly wood.
With the strong momentum of the China Railway Express (Changsha), local enterprises in Hunan continue to strengthen trade exchanges with countries along the “Belt and Road”. From January to May this year, Changsha’s open economy has achieved steady and positive development, with a total import and export value of 128.49 billion yuan, accounting for 53.7% of the province, a year-on-year increase of 18.4%.
Promote the shift of trains from “point-to-point” to “hub-to-hub”
