Overseas Network, June 25. According to the American Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), a 12-story residential building in Miami, Florida, USA, partially collapsed in the early morning of the 24th. A local official said that the accident has caused at least three deaths, as many as 99. The whereabouts of the person is unknown. According to reports, at least 12 people were injured in the incident, 2 of whom are in critical condition.

It is not clear how many residents were in the building at the time of the incident. Reid Jadala, assistant director of Miami-Dade Fire and Rescue, said they could not confirm the number of missing, but the situation looked very bad. Search and rescue personnel are still carefully examining the wreckage and remaining buildings, hoping to find survivors.

According to reports, a Florida senator said that most residents in this building are foreigners. According to the Paraguayan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the whereabouts of the six Paraguayans living in the building are currently unknown. The Argentine consulate in Miami also stated that 9 Argentines were missing; Venezuela’s ambassador to the United States confirmed that 4 Venezuelans were missing; the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uruguay stated that 3 Uruguayan citizens were affected by the accident, but their identities are still unclear. The Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also reported that six Colombian citizens had lived in the building, and officials were still trying to determine whether they were there when it collapsed.
