On June 8, the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (Aiea), the official organ of the UN in the field of nuclear energy, approved a resolution that recalls Iran for its lack of collaboration. It is the first text to explicitly criticize Tehran since June 2020 and comes at a time of stalemate in negotiations underway in Vienna to try to revive the 2015 agreement on the Iranian nuclear program, interrupted by the US exit in 2018 during the Trump administration.
