NEW YORK – Between “good intentions” in words and a clear mutual distrust, negotiations on the Iranian nuclear agreement resume today in Vienna: after the five-month pause imposed by the ultra-conservative president Ebrahim Raisi, who took office in August, which according to many analysts has allowed the Iran to advance its nuclear program. Tehran therefore returns to the negotiating table, but with a new team made up of opponents of the pact, determined to achieve more than six years ago.
