The “Quad” summit challenges China on disputed vaccines and seas

China does not like the new club of democracies presiding over the Indo-Pacific, and Beijing makes it known in harsh language: “It is doomed to fail.” Surely the goal of the new geometry is precisely to contain Chinese expansionism: is the Quad or quadrilateral that unites the United States Japan Australia and India “designed” to feed the psychosis of encirclement?
