The Russian Church of Ukraine cuts ties with Kirill

The die is cast: after months of embarrassment and fleeing faithful, yesterday the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate said goodbye to Kirill and proclaimed independence. Rich in parishes but increasingly poor in consensus, the Ukrainian rib of the Church of Moscow, in short, the Church of the Ukrainian pro-Russian, met in a difficult and painful synod decreeing farewell to the Kremlin and its bloody war.
