They were married in the Azovstal steel mill, they had a child of a few months. Vitaly e Alla Taranov they had given birth to their family in the gigantic womb of the Mariupol plant during the Russian siege but they could not make it to see it grow even outside. Husband and wife died three weeks apart: Vitaly on April 15 during a fight, Alla on May 8 in an air raid by the Russian army. Their child was orphaned.
The story was made known by the deputy commander of the Azov regiment Sviatoslav Palamar on the occasion of World Family Day on May 15, and relaunched on Telegram by the Municipality of Mariupol. Palamar said that this “family of defenders” joined the Azov regiment almost from the beginning of its birth: “They got married in Azov. Their family was born here and they too grew up here. “Two heroes died, there was nothing I could do. Me and the whole command are fighting 24 hours a day. This story is about one family.
