The United States reopens to vaccinated European tourists since November

NEW YORK – After keeping the border barred to EU citizens for 18 months due to the Covid emergency, the United States is preparing to relax the restrictions: allowing tourists from the EU states, together with those of the United Kingdom, to enter America starting next November. The new travel policy will finally break the “ban”, the entry ban in fact, imposed by Donald Trump in March 2020 and until now never abolished by his successor Joe Biden.

The change of direction comes on the eve of President Biden’s speech at the United Nations General Assembly in New York tomorrow.
