The US base in al Tanf in Syria was hit

On Wednesday evening, the US military base in al Tanf, in southeastern Syria, was hit in an attack probably carried out with drones, according to the first reconstructions. Local sources contacted by the journalist of the Bbc world serviceMiddle East correspondent Nafiseh Kohnavard confirm the attack on US troops. “Local sources say more drones were involved in tonight’s attack. Some from the Iraq-Syria border,” writes the journalist.

A military source from Centcom, the American central command in the Middle East, told a Sky News Arabia that according to the first assessments to attack the base were the militias supported by Iran. The investigation is ongoing. There would be no casualties.
