The White House said the 90-day virus traceability investigation was completed on schedule, the CCP scolded in advance | Virus Traceability Report | US Intelligence | CCP

[New Tang Dynasty Beijing time August 24, 2021]US President Biden in May ordered the intelligence department to submit a Covid-19 traceability report within a time limit, and the 90-day deadline ended on August 24. The White House announced on the 23rd that the report was completed as scheduled, but it will take some time to make an announcement. Before seeing the report, the Chinese Communist Party’s official and party media declared it to be a “falsified report” and “uncredible”.

On the 23rd, White House spokesperson Jen Psaki said that the US intelligence agency’s virus traceability investigation report is expected to be completed before the 90-day deadline, but it will still take “several days” to complete the non-confidential version released to the public.

In May, Biden ordered US intelligence agencies to produce a credible research report within 90 days to confirm whether the pandemic, which is damaging the world, came from the Wuhan Virus Laboratory in China.

The CCP approved the report before it was seen

On the day the White House announced that the virus traceability report was completed as scheduled, the CCP began a public counterattack.

On the 23rd, the Chinese Communist Party’s CCTV News accused the United States of “ineffective anti-epidemic” and declared that the United States was trying to “sweep China out of the pot”. The “People’s Daily” said that the traceability of the virus led by the US intelligence agency “has nothing to do with science.”

On the same day, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said at a regular press conference, “The US has repeatedly claimed that the new coronavirus (CCV) leaked from the laboratory, but in fact, it is the US itself that should be investigated most.”

Wang Wenbin also claimed that the traceability report of the U.S. intelligence agency was “a report made by concluding first and then pieced together evidence” and “not credible at all.”

However, the US intelligence agency has not yet released the virus traceability report, nor has it announced the conclusion that the virus came from the Wuhan laboratory. It is unknown how China learned in advance that the U.S. report would “paste the evidence and plant it.”

In fact, since the beginning of the virus traceability investigation, the response of the US intelligence agencies to the media has been that there has not been enough evidence to confirm which of the “natural origin theory” of the virus or the “laboratory leak theory” is more credible.

However, public opinion in the United States has turned overall, and more and more people believe that the virus comes from Chinese laboratories. A few days ago, Republicans in the US House of Representatives updated their virus traceability report, disclosing that the Wuhan Virus Research Institute had offline the virus database in the middle of September of the previous year, and bluntly stated that there was a large amount of evidence directly pointing to the Wuhan Virus Research Institute.

The US media disclosed that US intelligence agencies have obtained the virus gene database of the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Public opinion pointed out that the database may provide key evidence for virus traceability.

In response to the US virus traceability investigation, the CCP has recently launched a global public opinion propaganda, trying to throw the origin of the virus to the US in advance.

The British BBC Chinese website reported on the 24th that the CCP used a variety of propaganda channels and methods, including speeches from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, network co-signatures, party media uproars, and fake accounts or even fake identities on social media to shape American Germany. Unfounded stories such as the “leaking virus” of Fort Detrick’s biological laboratory.

The report mentioned that another public opinion offensive launched by the CCP was the “Global Times”, a foreign official media, hyping “the US makes the virus”, claiming that the US coronavirus expert Ralph Baric “created a new infection that can infect humans.” Coronavirus”. The official media also cited a paper in Nature Medicine as evidence.

However, the “Journal of Natural Medicine” subsequently issued a statement stating that it had noticed that this paper was used to “spread false theories.” However, the “Global Times” turned a blind eye to this statement and continued its public opinion hype.

The report pointed out that in addition to internal propaganda, the CCP also tried to involve non-Chinese readers, including the “Swiss biologist Wilson Edwards” who was publicly slapped in the face by the Swiss Embassy in China. A fake Facebook account named “Wilson Edwards” published false news that the United States was putting pressure on the World Health Organization (WHO), which was then published by the Chinese information platform “South Pacific Voice”, a Chinese information platform established in Fiji, an island nation in the South Pacific. After that, it became a “foreign media” report widely reprinted by the Chinese Communist Party media, and some social media accounts were immediately distributed to the outside world.

The report quoted expert analysis as saying that the CCP’s propaganda work may deceive the domestic people, but it does nothing to help the authorities construct “self-rationalized” propaganda to the outside world. The CCP’s biggest concern is its “domestic legitimacy”, but in recent years it has begun to blur the boundaries between internal and external propaganda, and its external propaganda has little effect, but it brings the risk of worsening diplomatic relations.
