Theoneste Bagosora, the “boss” of the genocide in Rwanda, dies in a prison in Mali

BAMAKO – Former Rwandan army colonel Theoneste Bagosora died in a cell in Mali, accused of being one of the coordinators of the 1994 genocide in Rwanda, when 800,000 people were massacred. Bagosora was serving a 35-year prison sentence after being found guilty of crimes against humanity by the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda.
