There is still a clash over Taiwan between China and Lithuania: Beijing blocks the import of meat from Vilnius

BEIJING – The revenge of the steak is served. Starting yesterday, China decided to suspend the import of meat from Lithuania: yet another episode in the saga between Beijing and Vilnius. “Missing documents”, Chinese customs said, without elaborating further on the reason for the suspension which usually occurs if cases of infection among livestock are reported (and this is not the case), therefore for reasons exclusively of food safety.
