BEIJING – Small, large, acts of disobedience. Hong Kong has tried to challenge the ban on remembering what happened 33 years ago in Tiananmen: there are those who went for a walk in a black T-shirt and a white mask with an x on the mouth, those who carried a flower in their hands, who lit the torches of the mobile phone or someone like Mr. Chan who, near Victoria Park, pulled out a LED candle with the words “Never forget June 4th”.
