Jason Miller, a former Donald Trump adviser, said that his new social media platform focused on freedom of speech has received financial support from a foundation related to Guo Wengui. Guo Wengui is an exiled Chinese businessman who publicly criticized the CCP.
This platform is called Gettr, which is a mixed word of “getting together” in English. Miller said that this Twitter-like platform was on the app store last month and will be officially launched on July 4.
Miller recently left Trump’s office to serve as CEO of Gettr. He said that Gettr has received support from international investors including the “Kwok Family Foundation.” Gettr is registered in Delaware and is headquartered in New York. He also stated that Guo Wengui has no direct financial interest or direct role in Gettr, and he did not specify which foundation made the investment.
