Under 17 years old, it is confirmed that Pfizer vaccine will reach 80% before school starts next year

(Petaling Jaya, 15th) The National Juvenile Coronary Disease Immunization Coordination Task Force (CITF-A) announced that the Ministry of Health will arrange two doses of Pfizer Coronavirus vaccine for Chinese youths, and this vaccine has been approved by the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) approval.

CITF-A predicts that 60% of adolescents aged 12 to 17 can complete at least one dose of vaccination in November, and 80% of adolescents can complete two doses of vaccination before school starts in 2022.

The Ministry of Health has also established a “Portal Vaksin-Anak-Ku” registration website, and all schools, educational institutions, government and private asylums and correctional homes must register for their institutions through this website.

“Parents and guardians must also register their children as dependents in the MySejahtera app, so that the children can obtain an electronic vaccine certificate.”

CITF-A issued a statement stating that the Ministry of Health has established the National Juvenile Coronary Disease Immunization Coordination Task Force (CITF-A) to formulate policies and be responsible for coordinating the vaccination plan for my country’s 12 to 17-year-old adolescents.

This task force will be led by Noazmi, Deputy Minister of Health.

CITF-A pointed out that the Ministry of Health will give priority to vaccinating young people aged 16 to 17 in my country who are about to face public examinations and young people with comorbidities.

“The plan will also cover students in private education, young people in shelters and reformatory homes, and young people in community centers (such as homeless people, refugees, and non-citizens).”

CITF-A will provide vaccination services for young people in three ways, including vaccination outreach activities, and vaccination services for students who live in boarding schools and are about to face exams.

“For the convenience of the students concerned, the appointment for the first dose will be arranged at the clinic or school near them, and the second dose will be carried out at their respective schools (if classes have not yet started, the first dose will be made). “

CITF-A stated that teenagers with comorbidities must be vaccinated at the hospital or clinic where they are being treated.

“As for teenagers who cannot attend the vaccination with their parents or guardians, they will receive an appointment through MySejahtera and go to the nearby clinic to complete the vaccination.”
