LONDON. Maybe he will never be as famous as Greta Thunberg. But he too wants to do his part in the fight against the climate emergency. So Jude, 11, decided: he will walk 200 miles, over 320 kilometers, from his home at Hebden Bridge in Yorkshire (North England) to London. Indeed, up to the Westminster Parliament, where he hopes to persuade British politicians to approve something he really cares about: a carbon tax, that is, a tax on energy resources that emit carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
