Burberry, official partner of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant, celebrates 70 years of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II with a series of initiatives. It begins with the collaboration with the Superbloom, a new naturalistic landscape in the historic moat of the Tower of London opened on the occasion of the jubilee year of Queen Elisabeth and transformed into a sea of ​​colors. Burberry is also participating in the launch of a zero-waste floating lawn and an artwork campaign that celebrates the past with the creatives of the future in honor of the legacy of the label’s hometown and her reign. Finally, the brand has created a commemorative scarf, in hand-illustrated silk, with motifs inspired by the ancient British woods and the flora and fauna that live there. With the scarf, the brand supports the Woodland Trust in creating spaces full of woods and trees for wildlife. The brand’s collaboration with Historic Royal Palaces in support of the Superbloom saw the planting of over 20 million seeds along the way. In addition, Burberry contributed two outdoor installations, including a large floating lawn, moored in front of London Tower on the River Thames and created in the image of the logo, and an art wall created in collaboration with digital artist Jon Emmony.
