Over 400 Americans have been killed or injured by firearms in the past three days. It is the tragic outcome of the Mother’s Day weekend, during which nine mass shootings took place. The most serious in Colorado where seven people were killed during a party.
In the 9 mass shootings (those with more than four people affected, excluding the aggressor) at least 15 people died while 30 were injured, some seriously. One of the most sensational episodes is that of Times Square, in the heart of Manhattan, in which two women and a 4-year-old girl were injured.
