Throwing away your career by announcing your resignation from your job with a video posted on TikTok. In America it is no longer just a trend: but a real epidemic. Part, of course, of that much broader phenomenon that the media already call “Great Resignation“-” Great resignation “- which in the last two years has seen at least 10 million people, about 8 per cent of the workforce (US Bureau of Labor Statistics numbers dating back to November) abandon their jobs before the pandemic, for the most diverse reasons: from the fear of contagions to settling for public subsidies, up to the rethinking of the centrality of work in private life.
