First resounding electoral defeat for Donald Trump, in the primaries in Georgia for the office of governor, the main challenge of this round: the outgoing Brian Kemp won, defeating the candidate supported by the tycoon, former senator David Perdue. CNN reports it. Trump wanted revenge for Kemp’s refusal to overturn the presidential vote in Georgia. The governor was instead supported by former vice president Mike Pence, who scores an important point against his former boss, also in view of a descent in the field for the White House in 2024.
