At least four people were killed in a gunshot attack on a shopping mall in Greenwood, Indiana, local authorities reported. Two injured were also reported, with rescuers still in action in the area. One of the dead is the suspected shooter, who was allegedly killed by a civilian after the man murdered three people in the mall.
Greenwood is a town of 60,000 just south of Indianapolis. In addition to police officers, bomb squads were also called to the area to investigate a suspicious package found in one of the mall’s restrooms, according to Bno News. Witnesses told 13News that they heard a barrage of gunfire, at least twenty, coming from inside the shopping mall’s food court.
