Thirteen Covid-19 positive gorillas in the Atlanta Zoo. They would have contracted it from a virus-positive keeper. Staff were alerted when several of the zoo’s 20 gorillas began showing symptoms, including runny noses, mild coughs, and loss of appetite, the Guardian writes. Fecal samples and swabs sent to the University of Georgia Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory showed that 13 of the great apes were positive for coronavirus.
