LONDON – Some remember it as the day the world said no to war. An exaggeration, because naturally not the whole planet took to the streets in the name of peace: but on 15 February twenty years ago, enormous protest demonstrations were held in dozens of countries against the conflict that threatened to break out and which then began, despite the opposition of millions of demonstrators, just over a month later.
