The Bodegas Museum Real is located in the Cigales wine region of Spain, on the north side of the Ribera del Duero (Ribera del Duero). The vineyards of this winery were discovered by chance by Grupo Baron de Ley in the late 1990s. He wanted to find high-quality grape-growing areas beyond the banks of the Duero River. The land I was looking for was a land planted with more than 100 acres of Tempranillo grape varieties. The vines are all 60-100 years old. These low-yield old vine grapes are conducive to the winery making wines that are amazing, concentrated and balanced in fruit aromas. The top soil of the vineyard is covered with sand, and the bottom is clay soil, so rainwater can be absorbed by plants smoothly and will not accumulate in the soil; here there is a large temperature difference between day and night, plenty of sunlight and long days, and fertile soil. They have become the conditions for the production of fine wines. The old vine grapes that are over 60 years old are all grown naturally, organically cultivated and never irrigated. The yield per hectare is less than 1,000 liters. During the ripening period, the grapes are picked completely by hand and fermented naturally in French oak barrels. It is aged in 100% brand new French oak barrels for 2 years. After bottling, it is placed in the cellar for 3 years. After 5 years, it is confirmed to be qualified before being sold. The stainless steel embossed wine label on the winery bottle shows a royal style. Royal Musou Winery mainly produces red wines, such as Museum Real Cigales Reserva, Museum Real Reserva, Museum Real Do Crianza, Cigales Do Tinto “Museum Real” Reserva and Museum Real Reserva Museum Cigales1275, all of very good quality.
