With Felipe Anderson starting, Lazio beats Frosinone in a five-goal game for the Italian

Lazio beat Frosinone 3-2 this Saturday, in a game valid for the 29th round of the Italian Championship. The game, played at the Benito Stirpe Stadium, featured Brazilian Felipe Anderson as a starter.

The goals for Giovanni Martusciello’s men were scored by Zaccagni and Valentín Castellanos (twice). The home team scored with Lirola and Cheddira.

Lazio’s victory interrupted a sequence of four consecutive defeats, combining Serie A and the Champions League. Coach Maurizio Sarri even resigned from his position after the season’s setbacks.

Lazio is in 9th place in the Italian Championship, with 43 points, 11 less than the G4. Frosinone remains in 18th position, in Z3, with 24 units.

Lazio’s next match will be against Juventus, in Rome, on the 30th (Saturday), also for the Italian. Frosinone will face Genoa on the same day, away from home.
