YouTube shuts down RT’s German-language channels, Moscow blames Germany

MOSCOW – The Russian government, through the spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, denounced the decision of YouTube to cancel the German-language channels of the state-funded RT as an “information war” and said it would block German media in Russia in retaliation. The video streaming site, which is owned by Google, has canceled RT’s German DFP channels for violating “the coronavirus disinformation policy.”
