The joy of finding a safe place, the pain of leaving those you love in danger. This is the mood of Zahra Ahmadi, a 32-year-old activist and entrepreneur from Kabul, who landed yesterday around 1pm in Rome Fiumicino. “I will never thank the Italians enough for taking me to a safe place,” he told his brother Hamed, founder of the Orient Experience restaurant chain and the face of many social inclusion campaigns.
