The current Premier League round, the 26th in a row, is reserved for two city derbies.

The first one is played today in Mostar, where Zrinjski and Velež meet, and after the first part, the defending champions have a slight advantage thanks to a goal by Mario Ćuže:

In the 9th minute of the match with the “borns”, the first team member of the “nobles” scored the seventh goal of the season, and the fourth in the same number of last rounds!

Antonio Ivančić took a free kick from the left side, Toni Šunjić overcame the Velež defense and dropped the ball into the box for Čuže, who checked Osman Hadžikić.

Velež tried to fight back in the 12th minute, but after Nermin Haskić’s header, there was no danger of a home goal. That’s why in the 42nd minute, when Đorđi Gulijašvili took a free kick from 23-24 from the goal of Marko Marić, who had already been defeated, he watched the flight of the ball, which hit the post.

Meanwhile, Matija Malekinušić decided to take a long shot, but Hadžikić was well placed.

Fifteen minutes after the leading goal, Zrinjsko coach Željko Petrović was forced to make one change. After a duel between Vita Čaić and Filip Bradarić, the Zrinjski first team player remained lying on the field complaining of a knee injury, and after remaining 4-5 minutes in the game, he left his place on the field to Tomislav Kiš.
