The Russian president Vladimir Putin says an interested person endorsement public in view of the American elections: āBiden he is more experienced and more predictable. He is a politician from old schoolā. And for this the Russian Tsar āwould preferā him, compared to Trump, as president of the United States. In an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin of Rossiya-1 TV, the head of the Kremlin seemed to dismiss the tycoon: āHe was defined as a politician not systemic, has his own opinion on how the United States should develop relations with its allies.ā A different version than the one expressed just a few days ago in the interview with Tucker Carlsoniron Trumpian, former presenter of Fox News.
Russia is ready to work with any US president, Putin assured, pointing out that it would be āincorrect to interfereā in the American countryside. At the same time, however, he elected Biden as the ideal leader as he is āexpertā and āold schoolā. Not exactly high praise in the days when the occupant of the White House is in great difficulty due to his report on his memory problems and cognitive decline.
Speaking of Nato, the Kremlin resident reiterated: āI think it is no longer of any use, it makes no sense. There is only one point: it is an instrument of US foreign policy.ā And yet, he warned, Russia remains concerned about the prospect that too lĆ¢ĀĀUcraina join the Atlantic Alliance. āWe were worried and still are about the possibility of Ukraine being involved in NATO, because it would be a threat to our security,ā he argued, in addition to claiming responsibility for the invasion: āThe only thing we can regret is not having started our active actions earlier, believing that we were dealing with good people.ā
The Russian president, as reported by the Tass reporting the contents of the interview, he also spoke about his recent and controversial face-to-face with Tucker Carlson. The American journalist was defined as āa man dangerousā, because the tsar imagined that āhe would behave in such a way aggressive, asking so-called cutting questions.ā And ānot only was I prepared for it, but I wanted it, it would give me the opportunity to respond in kind, abruptly.ā Instead, Putin added, the former Fox anchor āopted for a different tactic, he tried to interrupt me several times, yet, surprisingly for a Western journalist, he was patient, listened to my long speeches, especially those related to the story and did not let me do what I was ready to do.ā
