A guarantee control judge imposed a security measure in a prison facility on John Javier Sánchez Mesa, a driver accused of sexually abusing a 15-year-old teenager, in the town of Bosa, in the southwest of Bogotá.
On February 6, a man and his daughter requested a private transportation service through a virtual platform. The defendant arrived at the required point, who took the user to a gym and had to continue the journey a few more blocks to drop the young woman off at school.
Minutes later, the father checked the application on his cell phone and realized that the journey had not finished, so he called the minor. The teenager was crying, she was in nervous shock and claimed that the driver had sexually assaulted her. She confirmed this same version before the counselor at the educational center, so she was transferred to a healthcare center for her respective evaluation.
