Carlo Ancelotti Avoids Talking About Kylian Mbappé’s Future at PSG
Carlo Ancelotti steered clear of discussing the future of star player Kylian Mbappé during a press conference on Saturday. The Real Madrid coach, focused on the upcoming game against Rayo Vallecano, refused to be drawn into speculation about Mbappé’s next move.
“I see, I hear, I understand perfectly that this is the topic of the day for you, but not for us, for us it is tomorrow’s game,” stated Ancelotti. The Italian coach emphasized the team’s current goals and the need to finish the season strongly, rather than getting caught up in transfer rumors.
PSG announced last Thursday that Mbappé would not continue with the team next season, prompting speculation about his next destination. Reports in the Spanish press have placed Real Madrid as the likely next destination for the 25-year-old striker.
Ancelotti also dismissed concerns about the potential impact of Mbappé’s departure on the team, stating, “Do you see me affected? No. In the next press conferences it will be the same.”
With the focus firmly on the upcoming game and finishing the season well, Ancelotti made it clear that Mbappé’s future is not a priority for him or the team at this moment.
