Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
Head of the Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN) Bambang Susantono said that the authority had received 344 letters of investment interest or letter of intent (LoI) of IKN from both domestic and foreign investors.
Bambang added that until January 2024, the total investment coming into IKN from non-APBN is IDR 42.5 trillion. Then there are 33 private companies and non-government institutions that have started construction at IKN.
“The question of a million people is, ‘Is this really selling?’ he said, ‘Does anyone want to come in? Is it true that anyone wants to come in?’,” said Bambang in the Post-IKN Future seminar broadcast on the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government’s YouTube channel, Saturday (17/2).

Bambang continued that IKN had also done this groundbreaking up to four times from September 2023 to January 2024. He also noted that there are already three large hospitals that will be built in IKN, namely Abdi Waluyo, Hermina and Mayapada.
Apart from that, Bambang assessed that IKN received global support because it carried out three global campaigns. Namely climate change, biodiversity, and sustainable development goals.
“International community support-“It’s extraordinary for IKN,” said Bambang.
“Nusantara is the first and only city in Indonesia that has a roadmap for climate change, to overcome the impacts of climate change,” he added.
Furthermore, Bambang also confirmed that IKN would become a 10 minute city. People in IKN are targeted to be able to commute by foot with a travel time of 10 minutes.
According to him, a toll road will also be built in IKN. This toll road will provide an estimated travel time from residential areas to the airport of only around 45 minutes.
