Peru vs Argentina: the ‘blanquirrojo’ team lost 4-0 against the ‘albiceleste’ on Friday, April 26, for matchday 2 of the South American Women’s Sub 20. The duel was played at the Modelo Alberto Spencer Herrera stadium in Guayaquil.
The ‘bicolor’ team added its second consecutive defeat in the qualifying tournament for the World Cup of the category and with zero points it remained in last place in the standings.
The gauchas achieved their first victory in the final stage of the youth championship thanks to the goals of Kishi Núñez, Morena Calvo, Anela Nigito, Francisca Altgelt and Margarita Giménez. The ‘che’ team took the three points and occupies third place, in the World Cup qualification zone.
Peru will face Venezuela on Monday, April 29 for the third day of the South American Sub 20. For its part, Argentina will face Paraguay on the same day.
