Rome, December 17, 2021 – The killer of Fabrizio Piscitelli, known as Diabolik, shot in Rome in August 2019. The Police and the Carabinieri, coordinated by the magistrates of the DDA of Rome, proceeded to arrest Raul Esteban Calderon accused of murder aggravated by the mafia method. Calderon was arrested by the agents of the Flying Squad of Rome, on decree of arrest of the prosecutor, last December 13th. The provision was then validated by the investigating judge who issued an order for custody in prison. The murder of ‘Diabolik’ would have matured in the context of a war for the control of drug dealing in the territory of the capital.

The video of the cameras nailed the killer

The murder filmed entirely on a private camera. In the images you can see the entire action of the killer: the man approaches the head ultrà of Lazio and, after having fired the gunshot, runs away. Piscitelli was killed with a gunshot to the head on 7 August 2019 inside the park of the Aqueducts, in the Tuscolano district of Rome. In a note, the Prosecutor writes that “the sources of evidence on which the adoption of the measure was based” against Calderon “consist of the elements collected by the Flying Squad and the Scientific Police during the inspection carried out on the site and in the immediacy of the event and in particular from a video extracted from a camera installed in the area with which she was the execution of the crime resumed“. And again: “from the technical analysis of the video of the murder carried out first by the Scientific Police and subsequently by the technical consultant appointed by the Prosecutor’s Office, a clear compatibility emerged between the killer visible in the film and the seriously suspected subject”.
