The 2022 car incentives aim to give a boost to a market in deep crisis, despite being aimed exclusively at individuals (not VAT numbers) and exclusively car sharing companies. The contribution will also be disbursed in the event of a purchase with financing, as long as the holder retains ownership of the vehicle for at least one year.
In detail, for cars between 0 and 20 g / km of CO2, the state contribution is 3 thousand euros, plus another 2 thousand euros in the event of simultaneous scrapping. For cars between 21 and 60 g / km, the incentive will be 2 thousand euros plus another 2 thousand with scrapping. For cars in the last band, those in the 61-135 g / km category, equal to 2 thousand euros, the contribution will be paid only with the scrapping of a car up to 5 euros, registered for at least 12 months to the holder of the new car purchased (or to a cohabiting family member). Price limits are more stringent than in the past and as expected. Now we start from 35 thousand euros for cars 0-20 and 61-135 g / km and 45 thousand euros for cars 21-60 g / km (accessories included but excluding VAT, Ipt and putting on the road); adding only the VAT you get to 42,700 euros for the first band and 54,900 for the second.
