(ANSA) – BOGOTÁ, MAY 29 – The leader of the left Gustavo Petro will confront the independent outsider Rodolfo Hernández in a presidential ballot that will take place in Colombia on June 19 next.
With 97.36% of the votes cast, the National Electoral Register reported that the coalition leader Pacto Históric collects 40.33% and 8,333,338 votes. Hernández follows him for the Liga de Gobernantes Anticorrupción, which gets 28.14% and 5,815,377 votes.
In third place the leader of the Equipo por Colombia coalition, Federico Gutiérrez, who stopped at 23.90% and 4,939,579 votes, losing his participation in the ballot that some polls assigned him.
