Earlier at the Xbox press conference, developer Squanch Games released its first-person sci-fi shooter “High ON LIFE”, and recently officially released a new game trailer “Guy in the Hole”, let’s take a look.
The video itself doesn’t reveal much about the game, and looks more like a short parody clip that introduces players to what it’s like to be trapped in a cave.
Of course, “High on Life” is a sci-fi Metroidvania-style FPS developed by Squanch Games of Justin Roiland, the creator of “Rick and Morty”. From this, you can also guess that there will be a lot of funny and spoofed content in the game. .
In High on Life, humanity is under threat from an alien drug cartel who want to use humanity as a drug. The player takes the role of a human high school student who will become a galactic bounty hunter to stop aliens from invading Earth. The weapons used by players are lifeforms from another planet. These “biological guns” not only have their own unique abilities, but also have distinct personalities. They will communicate with players and even affect the direction of the plot.
HIGH ON LIFE is coming to Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) on October 25, as well as Xbox Game Pass.
