The Juventus club, which had set the figure for leaving Rodrigo at 40 million, will collect 35 million plus 5 in bonuses
UDINE. Here we are. Udinese and Atletico Madrid have found an agreement for Rodrigo De Paul who will therefore wear the shirt of the colchoneros, fresh Spanish champions trained by another Argentine, Diego Simeone, from next season.
The Juventus club, which had set the figure for leaving De Paul at 40 million, will collect 35 million plus 5 in bonuses linked to the player’s performance. Now it will be a question of seeing if there will be a relaunch of the other teams interested in De Paul, (Milan, Naples and Arsenal) but the feeling is that no one can offer the sum put on the plate by the Spaniards.
The move to Madrid is also an economic deal for De Paul who will sign a five-year contract, seeing his salary more than tripled: Rodrigo, in fact, will earn 3.5 million per season.
We recall that De Paul had arrived in Udine in the summer of 2016 and had been paid 3.5 million. With the Udinese shirt he played 175 games in Serie A scoring 33 goals.
