Genoa, sixty doctors from the Fiera hub: “We no longer vaccinate at Open day and Open night”

by admin

Sixty medical vaccinators from Asl3 in Genoa have decided to turn their backs on the Open night and cross their arms. While maintaining their daily commitment in the pits of the public clinic set up in the hub of the Fair, in the Jean Nouvel pavilion, they have decided to no longer participate in the “Open night” campaigns, such as the one that will take place tonight and Friday evening, from 19 to 22. “The rate of administration is too high, medicine has times that cannot be accelerated – explain some vaccinating doctors – we found ourselves in moments of difficulty, especially in the face of some allergic reactions of minors”. They explain that the pressure, with long lines in front of each vaccination box, not only generates gatherings that are dangerous for the circulation of the virus, but also imposes an acceleration of the procedures that conflict with the adequate times imposed by the protection of the patient and the vaccinators themselves.

The Region has already recruited, to avoid hitches in the open nights already announced, the vaccinators of the private vaccination clinic, red, which already operates inside the Genoa Fair. However, there remains the appeal letter from the doctors who ask for an urgent meeting at the top of the ASL3 and that the health company has announced to fix by the end of the week.
